Ahead of the Europa League's kickoff, BBC has spotlighted 12 football players expected to shine in the tournament.

Among the players is Olavio Juninho, the standout forward for Azerbaijan's Qarabağ FK. The Brazilian striker, who netted an impressive 31 goals last season—including 5 in the Europa League—has earned his place in the top 12. BBC highlighted his pivotal role and confirmed that he will once again lead the attack for the reigning champions of Azerbaijan: "After 31 goals last season, including five in the Europa League, the Brazilian forward will be one to watch for Azerbaijan side Qarabag.
