Olympiakos, Qarabag’s Europa League opponent, have been bolstered with the Algerian footballer Adam Ounas.

The contract was signed until the summer of 2026. Ounas moved to Olympiakos as a free agent. His contract with Lille expired at the end of June.
During his career, the winger played for Bordeaux, Napoli, Nice, Cagliari and Crotone. He played 28 games and scored 5 goals in the national team of Algeria, where Qarabag player Yassine Benzia also wore the uniform. Currently, the player's transfer value is estimated at 4 million euros.
Qarabag will face Olympiakos on January 30 in the eighth round of the Europa League.
