The goalkeeper of the Argentine national team, Emiliano Martinez, was punished.

The goalkeeper was suspended for two matches. The 32-year-old glove owner was punished for his actions in the World Cup-2026 matches against Chile (3:0) and Colombia (1:2) held this month. He made an unethical gesture in the first match and hit the television camera in the second match.
Emiliano will miss the qualifying games against Venezuela and Bolivia in October.
