Scorers Announced: Juninho's 6 Goals Excluded - VIDEO

The top football scorers in international matches for 2024 have been revealed.

According to Idman.biz, the list, compiled by the International Federation of Football History & Statistics (IFFHS), includes players who scored at least 8 goals in both national team and continental club competitions.

Leading the list is Ayub Al-Kaabi, the Moroccan striker from Olympiacos, with a remarkable tally of 15 goals. Al-Kaabi netted 11 goals for his club and 4 goals for his national team, securing the top spot among international scorers.

Brazilian player Juninho’s 6 goals were excluded from the rankings due to certain qualification criteria not being met.

Akram Afif, the Qatari forward of Al-Sadd, is the second, Harry Kane, the English star of Bayern is the third. Both of them scored 14 times.

The scorer of Qarabag Olavio Juninho scored a total of 9 goals in the European Cups, but was not included in the list. This was caused by not taking into account the goals of the qualifying stages. The Brazilian, who stood out 3 times in the main rounds and 6 times in the qualification, is therefore out of the table.

Only 19 players managed to score 8 or more goals in the first 9 months of the year.
