Following their recent match against Sabail, which ended in a thrilling 3:2 victory for Araz-Nakhchivan, midfielder Bernardo Dias expressed his thoughts on the game and the team's performance.
In his interview with Idman.biz, Dias reflected on the match, acknowledging that while the team had several scoring opportunities in the first half, they were unable to capitalize on them. He noted, “We had a good victory as a team. In fact, in the first half, we had episodes of goals, but we could not use them. Instead, due to sudden inattention, we conceded goal and went to the break defeated.”
Despite the challenges, Dias emphasized the team’s determination to maintain their positive momentum: “It will be difficult, but nothing is impossible. It is necessary to fight and 'fight' until the end.” He also expressed disappointment regarding the lack of fan support, stating, “The only disappointment for us right now is the fan factor. My teammates say that if we play in Nakhchivan, there will be more spectators. Unfortunately, that arena does not meet the requirements. But a way out of this should be found.”
Dias stressed the importance of playing in front of their supporters, highlighting that it could impact their performance positively: “We also want to play in front of our fans, under their support. If so, our opponents will feel more pressure. Also, our fans will see this victory.”
