Azerbaijan’s 17-men squad getting ready for World Championship
The U-23 Azerbaijani national mini-football team is hard at work preparing for the upcoming World Championship, set to take place in Croatia from October 7 to 10.
Idman.biz reports that under the guidance of head coach Rajab Farajzade, the team conducted an open training session today as part of their final preparations.
Azerbaijan will compete in the tournament with a squad of 17 members, including 14 players and 3 goalkeepers. The national team is set to face tough competition in their group, which consists of the Czech Republic, Serbia, and India.
