The Azerbaijan national football team has commenced preparations for their upcoming matches in the UEFA Nations League this October.
According to Idman.biz, the team gathered on October 7 and is currently training at the Neftchi Football Center.
Under the leadership of head coach Fernando Santos, the team will continue training at the same venue tomorrow before departing for Tallinn, Estonia, on October 9 at 15:00. The final pre-match training session ahead of their game against Estonia will take place at the Le Coq Arena on October 10 at 18:00 Baku time.
Following their match against Estonia on October 11, the team will hold a morning training session on October 12 before returning to Baku at 14:00. On October 13, the team will conduct a final pre-match training session at Tofig Bahramov Stadium at 17:00, in preparation for their clash with Slovakia.
The Azerbaijan national team will face Estonia on October 11 at the Le Coq Arena, and Slovakia on October 14 at Tofig Bahramov Republican Stadium, as part of Group I of the C League. Both matches are scheduled to kick off at 20:00 local time.
