Estonia’s head coach: “A goal scored 13 seconds after conceding…”

"We needed specific instructions to neutralize the Azerbaijani team's play. We were expecting them to play with five defenders. At the beginning of the match, we faced difficulties in defense. In such moments, we need to react faster rather than wait for the break."

Idman.biz reports that these comments were made by Estonia’s head coach Jürgen Henn.

The young specialist commented on their 3-1 victory over Azerbaijan in the 3rd round of the UEFA Nations League: "We have our own game plan. We want to attack and take advantage of the opportunities that come our way at certain moments. The players' behavior on the field is also important - sometimes they need to step out of the frame and make independent decisions. The goal scored 13 seconds after conceding was a moment that we had practiced beforehand."

The opposing coach also mentioned that not pulling back into defense allowed them to score the third goal.
