Samir Abasov has officially been appointed as the head coach of Neftchi.

The club shared a video highlighting the return of Abasov, although the duration of his contract was not disclosed in the announcement. Following his departure from Sumgayit, an agreement was reached that facilitated Abasov's transition to Neftchi, which was recently confirmed by Sumgayit.
