The Baku Olympic Stadium may host the final match of the 2026/27 Champions League season.
Idman.biz reports that AFFA (Azerbaijan Football Federations Association) has submitted a bid to UEFA for the country’s largest stadium to host the prestigious event.
There are two contenders for the 2027 final: Baku Olympic Stadium and Madrid’s Estadio Metropolitano.
The UEFA Executive Committee will announce the host venue in May 2025.
