Men's World Best Playmaker 2024 – Nominees

The International Federation of Football History and Statistics (IFFHS) continues to announce the nominees for this year’s awards.

According to Idman.biz, the organization has revealed the contenders for the Best Playmaker award.

Fifteen players have been nominated for the Best Male Playmaker title, including Lionel Messi. Other notable names include Kevin De Bruyne, Hakan Calhanoglu, and İlkay Gundogan: Kevin De Bruyne, Bruno Fernandes, Hakan Calhanoglu, Jamal Musiala, Martin Odegaard, Jude Bellingham, Toni Kroos, Dani Olmo, Florian Wirtz, İlkay Gundogan, Lionel Messi, James Rodríguez, Yunus Musah, Mohammed Kudus, and Lee Kang-in.

In the women’s category, 10 players are in the running for the Best Playmaker title: Aitana Bonmatí, Lindsey Horan, Grace Geyoro, Lauren James, Manuela Giugliano, Mariona Caldentey, Alexia Putellas, Leicy Santos, Yui Hasegawa, and Patri Guijarro.

The winners will be decided through a voting process conducted by IFFHS representatives across various countries.
