The former head coach of Khazar Lankaran Elbrus Mammadov died.
The football veteran died at the age of 52, Idman.biz reports.
As a football player, Mammadov, who played in Sumgait Khazar, Vilash, Khazar University (now Shamakhi) clubs, was the head coach of the main and substitute teams of Khazar Lankaran, the substitutes of Sumgait and Iravan. During his career, he worked as an assistant coach for Neftchi and the U-21 national team of Azerbaijan.
Mammadov was the head coach of Khazar Lankaran in 2015-16.
