The Azerbaijani national team has started training in preparation for their upcoming friendly matches against Bosnia and Herzegovina, scheduled for November 4-5.
According to Idman.biz, head coach Vitaliy Borisov has called up 14 futsal players, including two goalkeepers.
Today’s training session lasted approximately two hours, focusing on key tactical drills. The team will continue their training in Baku until November 2, before departing for Bosnia and Herzegovina the following day. The matches will take place at the Husejin Smajlović Sports Hall in Zenica, starting at 22:00 Baku time.
These games will be the last friendlies for the team before their UEFA EURO 2026 main-stage match against Sweden, set to take place in Baku on December 17.
