An unusual incident occurred in the Azerbaijan Minifootball League.
According to Idman.biz, during the fifth-round match between Goyche and Bakı 145, a goal scored by Oruj Mammadov from a free kick was declared null and void by the referees.
The officials indicated that the clean goal had hit the post.
In a conversation with our correspondent, Mammadov stated that despite the referees’ mistakes, they did not even apologize after the match: “We voiced our objections after the game. They simply claimed they didn’t see the goal. If this goal had been counted, the outcome of the match would have been very different.”
The match concluded with Goyche winning 4-2.
