Azerbaijan national team defender Rahil Mammadov may be heading to Sweden.
Idman.biz reports that the 28-year-old player is on the transfer list of Mjällby. The club, competing in the Swedish Allsvenskan, plans to add Mammadov to its roster during the winter transfer window, following his tenure at Radomiak. Rahil's contract with the Polish club runs until June 30, 2026.
He joined his current team this summer and has previously played for Neftchi, Sabail, Qarabag, Zira, and LKS Lodz, per apasport.az.
Mjallby, seeking to add Mammadov to their squad, is currently in 5th place after 29 rounds.
