Speaking to Idman.biz, Huseynov dismissed any serious discussions about a potential move: “I'm with Turan Tovuz right now, and there’s nothing concrete regarding Sabail. I’m about to go into a team meeting, and I don’t think it’s appropriate to comment further at this stage.”
The rumors followed the resignation of Shahin Diniyev, who left the Sabail coaching role after a 0-1 defeat to Kapaz in the Premier League.
