Baku may host Besiktas - Maccabi clash

Besiktas are in talks with UEFA to potentially hold their match against Maccabi Tel Aviv in Baku after the game in Istanbul was postponed.

According to Idman.biz, Turkish officials see Azerbaijan as a neutral country for the match and are advocating for it to take place in Baku.

Due to the political crisis between the two countries, UEFA has scheduled the fifth-round match of the Europa League group stage between Besiktas and Maccabi Tel Aviv to be held at a neutral venue on November 28.
