The future of Belgian midfielder Radja Nainggolan in Azerbaijan has been decided.
According to Idman.biz, citing Sportinfo.az, negotiations between Nainggolan and Azerbaijani club Karvan have concluded. The 36-year-old, who has played for Italian giants Roma and Inter, requested a significantly high salary from the I League team. As a result, the Yevlakh club decided not to move forward with the formal agreement.
Throughout his career, Nainggolan has also played for Cagliari and SPAL in Italy, as well as Antwerp in Belgium. Most recently, he represented Bali United in Indonesia. Since July of this year, he has been a free agent. His current market value is estimated at €325,000.
