Azerbaijan’s champion team, Qarabag, took to the field today for another UEL league phase match.
According to Idman.biz, the Aghdam team faced Bodø/Glimt in the fourth round of the League stage. After three consecutive losses, Gurban Gurbanov's squad finally claimed their first points with a victory in Norway. Toral Bayramov opened the scoring with a stunning strike. Although the home team equalized before halftime, Zoubir secured the win for Qarabağ with a second-half goal.
Just ahead of Victory Day, Qarabag presented the Azerbaijani people with a thrilling win.
Previously, Qarabag suffered defeats against Tottenham (0:3), Malmö (1:2), and Ajax (0:3). Their next match will take place on November 28 in Baku against Lyon.
