In an interview with AFFA.az, Abdullayev shared his thoughts on the upcoming European Championship qualifiers: "Training sessions are going according to plan. Ireland is considered the favorite in our group. Nevertheless, we aim to secure one of the top two positions in the group to qualify for the elite round. Our opponents are strong, but we didn't come here for nothing. Our goal is to return home with success by advancing to the elite round, and we will do our best to achieve it."
The U19 team, placed in Group 7 of the European Championship qualifiers, will face Iceland on November 13, Ireland on November 16, and Moldova on November 19. All group matches will be held in Chisinau, Moldova.
