Lionel Messi causes Jersey ban

Restrictions will be in place for stadium entry ahead of the Paraguay vs. Argentina match in the qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup.

According to Idman.biz, local fans are prohibited from entering the arena wearing the opposing team's jerseys.

Paraguayan fans are not allowed to wear not only the Argentina national team jersey but also club jerseys of Argentina’s players. The local federation is concerned about the large number of Lionel Messi fans in the country who may come to the game wearing Inter Miami jerseys.

The Paraguay vs. Argentina match will be held on November 15.
