Mahmud Gurbanov, the former player of the Azerbaijan national team, has shared his thoughts on Javid Huseynov being appointed as the head coach of Sabail FC.
In an interview with Idman.biz, Gurbanov stated, “I consider Javid Huseynov’s appointment to be a very successful one.” He emphasized that Huseynov, who has a strong background as both a player and a coach, is fully capable of handling the responsibilities of leading Sabail. “Javid has had a successful career as a player. I believe that as a head coach, he will be able to meet the challenges ahead. He is a talented individual, and he has experience as a head coach, having worked with Shamakhi in the past. Therefore, I believe he will do well. I wish him success in his work.”
Huseynov, who previously coached Turan Tovuz, has signed a contract with Sabail until the 2025/2026 season.
