After returning to Neftchi in October, head coach Samir Abasov has started revealing his plans for the upcoming winter transfer window.
According to Idman.biz, Abasov, who signed a two-year contract with the club, intends to make at least three transfers in the winter of 2025.
The coach discussed the team's overall situation with the club's management and emphasized the necessity of strengthening the squad. Abasov pointed out that the team requires reinforcements in the central defense, defensive midfield, and attacking positions.
He also admitted that achieving the set goals with his current squad would be challenging, as nearly all players are struggling with physical fitness issues.
