Rahil Mammadov, the defender for both the Azerbaijan national team and Poland's Radomiak club, discussed his recent inclusion in the Theam of the Week of the Polish Ekstraklasa’s 15th round.
Idman.biz reports that speaking to Futbolinfo.az, Mammadov commented, "Being named to the team of the week is, of course, a good thing." He went on to reflect on his team’s victory over Pogoń in the previous round, emphasizing that it was an important win for Radomiak: "It was a good result and a crucial victory for us. But I don’t overthink what comes next. Everyone wants to be successful, and such achievements are reflected in statistics. However, there is nothing to exaggerate here. The key is to keep working hard and playing consistently. I have a lot of motivation, but I don’t consider this as anything extraordinary for myself. I focus on playing as well as I can."
Currently, Rahil Məmmədov’s Radomiak is in 13th place on the Ekstraklasa table after 15 rounds.
