One of Sumgayit’s foreign players is set to leave during the winter break.
According to Idman.biz, citing Sport24.az, the club’s management has decided to part ways with Fernando da Silva, who joined the team last summer.
The Brazilian defensive midfielder has made only five appearances and scored one goal for the club.
His contract is set to run until June 2026.
Fernando has previously played in his home country as well as in Portugal and Albania.
