As part of the COP29 summit in Baku, organized by Qarabag FK with the support of the UNFCCC and the European Club Association (ECA), ten renowned football clubs will come together to form an alliance aimed at combating climate change.
According to Idman.biz, these clubs will arrive in Baku on November 15. The alliance, led by sustainability leaders like Liverpool and Udinese, includes Tottenham, Atlético Madrid, Real Betis, Fenerbahçe, Galatasaray, Porto, Flamengo, and Malmö. Each club will share their unique initiatives on sustainability and climate action.
The alliance founding event is scheduled for November 16 at 14:00 in the Nasimi hall, open to all accredited attendees.
