Ziya Mammadli, a talent of Neftchi and a member of the Azerbaijan national team, has found a new club to continue his career.
The 23-year-old midfielder will now play for Khankandi, a team in the Region League, Idman.biz reports.
Mammadli spent his youth career from the age of 12 to 19 with Neftchi, playing for various age groups and the reserve team. During this time, he won the Azerbaijan championship four times and earned the title of Best Player in the U13 League in 2015.
He has also represented Azerbaijan’s U17 and U19 national teams and played for clubs such as Araz-Nakhchivan and Imishli before joining Khankandi.
