The first half of the group stage of the European club competitions in the new format has concluded.
According to Idman.biz, after three rounds in the Champions League, Europa League, and Conference League, the group stages have reached their halfway point.
A total of 198 matches have been played by the 108 participating teams. The list of clubs with the highest average attendance is now known.
The traditional leader in terms of average attendance is Borussia Dortmund, securing the top spot. German fans are the "number one" in Europe, with an average of 81,365 spectators at their group-stage games.
Bayern Munich (75,000) ranks second, and Real Madrid (73,830) is third. All three of these leaders are competing in the Champions League.
Manchester United, the leader of the Europa League, is in fourth place with an average of 73,122 spectators.
The only Azerbaijani representative in the group stage, Qarabag, has an average of 27,877 spectators across its two matches, totaling 55,754 attendees. This places the Agdam club in 44th position among the 108 teams. Interestingly, Qarabag’s next opponent, Lyon, is in 45th place with 25,881 spectators. In the Europa League, Qarabag ranks 17th.
Qarabag's next home game will be on November 24 against Lyon.
