As always, the hospitality in Azerbaijan is at a high level. Everything has been well organized.
This was stated by Estonia’s head coach, Jürgen Henn, whose team is set to face Azerbaijan in the UEFA Nations League.
The young coach emphasized that the 3-1 victory at home against Azerbaijan was not a special achievement for him: “I don’t think about it. The most important thing is the team’s performance. I was very proud of how well our team performed.”
Henn also spoke about the potential drop to League D, acknowledging it would be seen as a failure: “It’s the same everywhere. Every country wants to play in a higher league. Dropping to a lower division is considered a kind of failure, a tragedy. But we must also consider that, compared to other groups, ours was more difficult. Both we and Azerbaijan might have had a better chance in other groups. But in the end, someone must be relegated.”
The match between Azerbaijan and Estonia will take place tomorrow in Gabala at 18:00.
