Azerbaijan national team and Zira FC player Rustam Ahmadzada will be sidelined for the rest of the year due to injury.
According to the club's press service, as reported by Report, the forward is expected to return after the winter break. Zira's other player, Qismat Aliyev, is expected to return to action in about 10 days.
Rustəm Ahmadzada was removed from the Azerbaijan national team squad after the injury he sustained with Zira. In his place, Qarabag striker Musa Gurbanli has been called up to the national team.
Under the leadership of Fernando Santos, the Azerbaijan national team will face Estonia in Gabala on November 16 and Sweden in Solna on November 19 in the UEFA Nations League group stage.
