Russia’s national football team will not participate in the qualification rounds for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
According to Idman.biz, Russia will also miss the draw scheduled for December 13.
UEFA and FIFA have maintained their earlier decision to exclude Russia, leaving the team out of contention for a World Cup spot once again.
Since February 2022, Russian teams have been barred from all competitions until further notice. As a result, Russia will miss its third consecutive major tournament, following its absence from the 2022 World Cup and UEFA Euro 2024.
