Hakan Calhanoglu's season has been far from smooth, with numerous challenges since June.
It all began with an attempted move to Bayern Munich, which ultimately fell through, and the midfielder himself clarified the situation with a call to Piero Ausilio, Idman.biz reports according to Tuttosport.
However, the most troubling issue is tied to the Doppia Curva investigation, which uncovered Calhanoglu's involvement with Marco Ferdico, a former leader of the Curva Nord. Despite the club's stance against such associations, Calhanoglu personally maintained ties with Ferdico. As a result, once formal charges are made, Calhanoglu could face a hefty fine and a suspension of 2-3 matches.
Adding to the complications, Calhanoglu recently sustained an injury but chose to remain in Turkiye with the national team. Although Inter Milan has not officially opposed this decision, it has certainly raised concerns.
