Former Newcastle goalkeeper Loris Karius joins Schalke

Loris Karius, former goalkeeper for Liverpool and Newcastle, has returned to Germany to continue his career.

Idman.biz, citing Sky Sports, reports that Karius has signed a contract with 2. Bundesliga side Schalke until the end of the season.

Schalke currently sits 13th in the league table with 20 points after 17 rounds.
