Tensions flared ahead of the Spanish Cup final El Clasico in Seville, as clashes broke out between Barcelona fans and police.
According to Marca, Idman.biz, reports that police intervened after a group of Barcelona supporters caused disturbances at Plaza Nueva.
One fan was arrested, prompting others to throw objects at the police. The situation was eventually brought under control, and fans dispersed from the square.
Inside the stadium, Barcelona fans also booed the Spanish national anthem before kick-off.
It’s worth noting that Barcelona defeated Real Madrid 3-2 after extra time to lift the Spanish Cup trophy.
