Azerbaijani mini-football team, which is preparing for the World Championship, won the international tournament held in Herceg Novi, Montenegro.
Azerbaijan team won the main prize by defeating all its rivals in the competition, where the national teams of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Turkiye, Montenegro and Kazakhstan competed, Idman.biz reports.
National team member Tamkin Khalilzade was awarded the title of the best player of the tournament.
The team led by Elshad Guliyev left for the city of Košice, Slovakia, to participate in another international tournament. In the competition, which will start on April 30, the national teams of Slovakia, Ukraine, Belgium, Poland and Hungary will also compete. The tournament will conclude on May 1.
