Mahir Emreli, who plays for Nürnberg, has suffered a wrist injury.
The Azerbaijani forward picked up the injury during the 31st round of Germany’s 2. Bundesliga in a match against Fortuna Düsseldorf, Idman.biz reports.
The club has confirmed that Emreli underwent a medical examination yesterday. He will be treated using a conservative (non-surgical) method. It was also noted that he is expected to return to training and upcoming matches with the help of a protective device.
Notably, Mahir Emreli scored one of the goals in Nürnberg’s 3–3 draw with Fortuna. His team is scheduled to face Elversberg at home on May 4 in Round 32.
