Azerbaijan national football player Mahir Emreli may change clubs at the end of the season.
The 27-year-old forward, currently playing for Nürnberg, has caught the attention of other clubs in Germany's 2. Bundesliga after his impressive goal-scoring performances, Idman.biz reports.
The Bild publication reports that at least two Bundesliga clubs are interested in adding Mahir to their squads. It is said that every goal Emreli scores brings him further away from Nürnberg and closer to a move to the Bundesliga. To retain Emreli in their squad, Nürnberg may have to adjust their financial terms and invest more resources into securing a new contract.
The forward has been playing for his current club since August 2024.
