Tickets for the Australian Grand Prix were sold out within an hour.
Idman.biz reports that ticket sales for the Formula 1 tour in Melbourne (March 14-16) were supposed to start on Tuesday, but due to a system failure, they took place only on Wednesday.
Demand was so high that all tickets for Saturday and Sunday were sold out in less than an hour.
In 2024, 452,055 spectators visited Albert Park during the race weekend. More fans are expected in 2025. So, the number of stands will be slightly increased until next year's stage.
The interest of local fans in the Grand Prix in Melbourne is understandable. Because in 2025, two Australian racers - Oscar Piastri and Jack Duane - will enter the starting line. New Zealander Liam Lawson will take part in the competition together with them.
