Las Vegas Grand Prix heads toward economic record

The Las Vegas Grand Prix is set to take place on November 23, and Bloomberg predicts that the event's economic indicators will surpass those of 2023.

According to Idman.biz, hotels in Las Vegas still have availability for the event weekend (November 21-24), with budget-friendly options starting at $100 per night. However, higher-end hotels near the racecourse are expected to charge up to 8 times higher than usual during the weekend.

The preparation process for this year’s event has caused less disruption to the city compared to last year. Billboards highlighting cultural programs and other exciting events have been put up, with Adel performing at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace. Additionally, the world's largest LED screen, Sphere, will host a concert by the Eagles.

Tickets for the race are still available, with the cheapest priced at $99 for locals, and premium tickets available for $35,000, which also includes a dinner with celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay.

During the debut race last year, fans spent on average 3.6 times more than tourists visiting Las Vegas at other times of the year, with a total spend of $883 million. Over 300,000 spectators attended the race, generating approximately $1.5 billion in direct and indirect revenue for the city's economy.
