Idman.biz reports that the performance of the team in the UEFA Champions League was discussed during the internal club meeting and the result was considered unsatisfactory.
Therefore, the contract with head coach Vitaliy Borisov was terminated by mutual agreement.
According to the information provided by the club, Predrag Rajic was temporarily appointed as the head coach. Borisov will continue his work as the head coach of the Azerbaijan national team.
Vitaliy Borisov and Predrag Rajic worked for the Azerbaijan national team and Araz-Nakhchivan from July 2023. After Borisov was appointed head coach, he invited the Serbian specialist to the coaching staff.
