"We have new players in our team."
Emin Kurdov, futsal player of the Azerbaijan national team, told Idman.biz.
He announced his thoughts before the friendly match with Bosnia and Herzegovina. The 40-year-old goalkeeper said that a new era has already begun in the country's futsal: "That's why it takes some time for the result. Friendly games are very good for us in terms of experience. In December, we have a tough match with the Swedish national team of the European Championship qualifying round in Baku. For this purpose, matches with Bosnia and Herzegovina national team are important. The opponent is very experienced and has a lot of practice games. But that doesn't mean anything."
Kurdov emphasized that they will do their best for a good result: "We want to return to the country with a high result. Our team is not weak, we just have new players. The team has been almost completely changed. We had foreign and experienced players who are no longer there. That's why it's difficult for us. I think everything will be fine."
Azerbaijan national team will hold a test match with Bosnia and Herzegovina on November 4 and 5.
