The 29th Azerbaijan championship in rhythmic gymnastics is being held at the Tartar Olympic Complex.
Idman.biz reports, the winners of several age groups were determined in the afternoon session of the second day of the competition.
Michelle Aniskina celebrated her victory in the all-around competition among children born in 2014. Elissa Aliyeva won a silver medal, and Fatima Tarverdiyeva won a bronze medal.
Among the children born in 2015, Mira Ozel won the championship. Nilay Punhanli won silver. Leyla Karimli closed the first triple.
Among the gymnasts born in 2016, Suel Gasimova was the first in all-around. Guler Khanseyidova took the second place, Aylin Gozalova took the third place.
130 athletes are participating in the national championship. They represent Olympic Reserve Gymnastics School, Republican Complex Sports School, Ganja, Ojag Sport and Gratsiya clubs, Kur center, Shagan and Shirvan Olympic Complexes, Zire cultural center and Shamkir Youth House.
