She evaluated the performance of the Azerbaijani national team, which participated in the world championship on acrobatic gymnastics held in Guimaraes, Portugal. Mammadzade said that for the first time our acrobatics representatives were awarded a gold medal at the world championship: "Our acrobatic gymnasts make us happy in international arenas with their successful performances. They were also awarded a gold medal at last year's European Championship. Later, our athletes were awarded medals at the World Championship held in Baku in 2022. However, they did not win a gold medal in the world championship until this year. When our team left for this competition, we knew that they were going to fight for the gold medal success. It was clear to us. Of course, we were very happy with the results and 4 gold medals."
According to him, Azerbaijan has not been represented in mixed and men's acrobatics for many years: "The reason for this is the formation of this type in recent years. It was impossible to predict the medal about them. I am very happy that we won gold in this group. Although they were formed in a short time, we managed to achieve such a result. After the medals, the Azerbaijani team took the 3rd place in the ranking table announced at the world championship. Belgium and China are in the first and second places. All this makes us very happy."
Azerbaijan finished the championship with 8 medals (4 gold, 1 silver, 3 bronze).
