This statement was made by Alfred Kjær Bollesen, a gymnast from the Denmark national team, after winning a gold medal in the youth category at the TeamGym European Championship held at the National Gymnastics Arena.
According to Idman.biz, the Danish youth team emerged as the winner in the men's team competition.
“We showed the best results in the qualifying round, but we needed to perform even more confidently in the finals. It’s gratifying that we scored higher in the final than on the first day of the championship. Being at the top is very pleasant; all my teammates performed excellently!” Bollesen expressed.
He also shared his thoughts on the atmosphere of the European Championship: “There was a strong energy coming from the stands; we felt the support of the fans. This motivated us even more from start to finish. Baku has a beautiful arena, and everything is at the highest level. It’s a great pleasure to be here and perform.”
