Last week, the European Championship in TeamGym took place in Baku. Representatives from European Gymnastics were also in Azerbaijan to attend the event.
In an exclusive interview with Sport.biz, Paolo Frising, a member of the Executive Committee and former president of the Luxembourg Gymnastics Federation, shared his thoughts on Baku, the tournament, and Azerbaijani gymnastics as a whole:
“This is my 5th visit to Baku. I have seen only Baku, and also Qarabag in this visit. The city is changing every time I come here. Very modern, cosmopolitan and innovative. I like being here, since people are warm and welcoming.”
“The Azerbaijan Gymnastics Federation has organized the European TeamGym Championships 2024 very well. Everything including the work between the LOC and European Gymnastics was perfect. Last time, 2 years ago, it took place in Luxembourg.”
