The German Gymnastics Federation has announced that the 42nd FIG Rhythmic Gymnastics World Championships will take place in Frankfurt am Main in 2026.
According to Idman.biz, the year’s premier event will be held at the renowned Festhalle Frankfurt.
Opened in 1909, the complex can accommodate 10,000 spectators after renovations. The arena's maximum height is 40 meters, allowing athletes to perform higher throws during their routines.
This is the fourth time Germany will host the competition, following Munich 1981, Berlin 1997 and Stuttgart 2015.
