The participants and the program of the Azerbaijan Championship in Rhythmic Gymnastics, which will be held in Guba on October 26-27, have been announced.
According to information provided by the Gymnastics Federation to İdman.biz, 122 individual gymnasts and 9 group teams will compete in the competition.
In the 28th Azerbaijan Championship, which will be held at the Guba Olympic Sports Complex, along with the capital, the Shamakhi and Zagatala divisions of the "Ojag" Sports Club, the Specialized Olympic Reserves Children-Youth Gymnastics School (BGM), the Republican Complex Sports School, the "Gracia" Sports Club, the Baku Aquatics Palace, Representatives of "Zabrat" Sports Club, Zira Cultural Center, Absheron Olympic Sport Complex, Ganja OSC, Goychay OSC, Lankaran OSC, Masalli OSC, Gusar OSC, Shirvan OSC, Shamkir Youth House and Nakhchivan will take to the carpet.
Athletes will compete in the age categories of children (born in 2013, 2014, 2015), teenagers (born in 2011-2012) and youth (born in 2008-2010).
In the Championship, which will last for two days, the winners will be determined in the individual program according to the age groups in all-around. Individual gymnasts will be joined by gymnasts born in 2008-2010 and 2013-2015 who performed in the group exercise program.
Competitions will start at 10:00 every day.
It should be noted that the organization of national competitions by AGF in the regions has already become a tradition. This initiative aimed at the development of regional sports serves to increase the interest of teenagers and young people in gymnastics. The different weather that will be experienced in the complex during the colorful performances of our gymnasts will be of great interest to the residents of Guba.
