The Azerbaijan national team took the fifth place in the team score at the Trampoline Gymnastics and Tumbling World Championship held in Birmingham.
Idman.biz reports that the team won 2 gold medals in the tumbling competition.
Mikhail Malkin, who won the team championship together with Tofig Aliyev, Adil Hajizadeh and Elnur Mammadov, was also awarded the title of World Champion in the individual competition.
In the final list, Azerbaijani athletes defeated gymnasts from Spain, Germany, Canada, Portugal, Japan and many other countries.
The first "three" in the overall score are the USA (3-3-3), Great Britain (3-2-5) and China (2-3-0).
