The next opponent for Qarabag women's handball club in the European Cup has been revealed. As Idman.biz reports, Qarabag will face HC Galychanka in the III stage of the tournament.
Interestingly, this won't be the first encounter between a Ukrainian and an Azerbaijani team in this season's competition. HC Galychanka previously faced Azeryol in the second round, securing two convincing wins in Baku with scores of 36:22 and 32:16.
The III stage matches will take place on November 9-10 and 16-17.
The first leg will be held on Galychanka’s home ground in Ukraine.
In the II round, Qarabag delivered two close victories over Luxembourg's Differdange, winning 27:24 and 26:25 in Baku, securing their place in this exciting matchup against Galychanka.
