28 of the 48 athletes will represent Azerbaijan at the Olympics for the first time in their careers. Our other 20 representatives have experienced this excitement before.

Maria Stadnik will represent our country for the 5th time, Haji Aliyev, Ushangi Kokauri, Ruslan Lunev, Rostislav Pevtsov, and Hanna Skydan will represent our country at the Olympics for the 3rd time. Skydan indeed participated in the Games as a Ukrainian athlete. But she will represent Azerbaijan for the 3rd time.

Another 14 experienced sportsmen got this right for the 2nd time. 13 of them performed in Tokyo, and Sabah Shariati performed in Rio. The latter will participate in the competition after 8 years.
